Manarat Jeddah is a well-known school in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. When I took the task of formally finishing the project in Manarat Jeddah I gathered information. Our school was owned by the late Prince Muhamamd Al Faisal and then brainchild of three brothers named:
· Abdul Aziz Shawi
· Ahmed Shawi and
· Khalid Shawi.
The Connection of the Shawi Brothers to Manarat Jeddah
1. Founding Visionaries:
- Abdulaziz Shawi: As one of the key founders, Abdulaziz Shawi had a vision to create an educational institution that would provide high-quality education to both expatriate and local students in Saudi Arabia. His goal was to establish a school that could offer a blend of international curricula while maintaining a strong emphasis on Arabic and Islamic values. Manarat Jeddah was one of the first schools to embody this vision.
2. Administrative and Operational Leadership:
- Ahmed Shawi: Ahmed Shawi was instrumental in the administrative and operational aspects of Manarat Jeddah. His expertise in school management helped set up the necessary infrastructure and organizational structure. He ensured that the school could operate smoothly and provide an environment conducive to learning.
3. Expansion and Development:
- Khalid Shawi: Khalid Shawi contributed to the expansion and further development of Manarat Jeddah. His efforts were focused on ensuring that the school continued to grow, both in terms of student enrollment and the breadth of educational programs offered. Khalid worked to enhance the school’s facilities and educational resources.
