In times like these, when the world feels increasingly uncertain, it becomes even more important for us to remember one another in our prayers. As members of the Ummah, we are bound together by faith, compassion, and a shared responsibility to look out for one another. We should especially pray for our brothers and sisters in Makkah and Madinah—cities whose spiritual significance touches the heart of every Muslim. May Allah grant peace, safety, and blessings to the people of the Haramain and to the entire Ummah.

Recent events around the world have reminded us of our vulnerability and our constant need for divine mercy. Earthquakes, natural disasters, and other sudden occurrences are a sign for us to reflect, to turn back to Allah, and to strengthen our sense of unity. These moments call us to raise our hands not only for ourselves, but for every believer, asking Allah to protect our families, our communities, and our nations from harm.

Amid these global challenges, it is heartening to see members of our extended Manarat community continuing to connect, support one another, and preserve the bonds we built over the years. This December, Mr. Yusuf will be visiting Jeddah, InshaAllah. His visit is always a source of inspiration for alumni and students alike, as he carries with him decades of dedication to education, character-building, and the nurturing of young minds. Those who had the blessing of being his students know how deeply he cares for the growth and well-being of his former pupils.
Alongside this, another Manarat reunion is being organized in Jeddah, hosted by our brother Dahlani. These gatherings are more than just meetings—they are opportunities to relive memories, exchange ideas, reconnect with old friends, and strengthen the network that has shaped so many of us. If you are in Jeddah or anywhere nearby, please try to attend. Your presence will enrich the atmosphere and reinforce the spirit of togetherness that Manarat has always stood for.
Recently, there was also a meaningful meeting in New York between Mr. Yusuf and Dr. Ahsan(class of 1989) , an alumnus of Manarat Jeddah and one of Mr. Yusuf’s students. Their conversation reflected the deep respect that continues to exist between teachers and students across generations. It also reminded us that the Manarat legacy is global—stretching from Jeddah to Dhaka, New York, London, Riyadh, Kuala Lumpur, and beyond. No matter where life has taken us, the values and lessons we gained during our time at Manarat continue to guide us.
For those interested in updates, memories, or alumni news, you may visit the Manarat Jeddah site (manrajeddah.com) and stay connected. Let us continue to strengthen our bonds, support each other in hardship and ease, and keep the entire Ummah in our prayers.
May Allah protect us, unite our hearts, and grant relief to all who are facing difficulties. Ameen.
